Winter Wonderland

While many across the country are starting to enjoy a white winter wonderland appearing outside their homes, we’re relishing in the indoor beauty of our all white kitchens. Nestled in the heart of Vero Beach Florida, many of our clients are looking to liven up their kitchen living spaces and reflect the bright natural light that shines down nearly 232 days a year on average.

Inspired by the fine white sand that lines all along the coast of the Vero Beach and surround areas, many of our kitchen designs default to a beautifully modern and white-centered color palate that not only brightens the space but adds value and positivity to your home. The color white carries with it both purity and perfection as well as wholeness and completion. Entering an all-white space like those featured in many of our designs brings peace and tranquility into your home with a touch of balance, as white itself contains an equal balance of all colors on the spectrum.

When paired with a rich navy or cobalt blue, like in many of our most recent designs, the crisp whites really pop, giving the space a modernist yet minimalist clean look. Some may be wary of white, but our experts ensure that each of the shades match seamlessly. Our material and supplies choices also ensure that your Signature kitchen will not only be beautiful and pure but functional and practical too.

The Total Package

Just as there isn’t a day when you’re not doing something in your kitchen, our team of expert designers and contractors never take a day off either.
Most recently, we completed a kitchen in the Vero Beach area for some homeowners that wanted to give their kitchen space an updated and more modern look. As you can see from the featured images, this kitchen received the total package.

To begin, we removed the existing overhead soffit, lighting fixtures, cabinetry, island and bar area, including all countertops and tile. Having drawn up a new design with a fresh kitchen layout, we also relocated the cooktop, sink, and dishwasher to create a better flow throughout the space. With the room stripped to the bones, we built up this couple’s dream kitchen.

Brightening up the space most is the fresh, new Nordic White cabinetry from Holiday Kitchens that feature a modern matte paint finish. We moved the kitchen’s sink and dishwasher to the space’s island which quickly becomes the focal point of the room upon entering. This island pops with the Granite colored cabinetry yet remains cohesive with the rest of the space which features a marbled gray countertop throughout. We made sure to design an overhang on the island to accommodate for barstool-style seating, the perfect place to share breakfast or to entertain guests. The island also features a double pull-out trash hideaway beside the sink, a built-in wine cooler, and glass-door bookcase for added storage.

Along the lines of storage, Signature’s team installed a series of upper stack cabinets to utilize the space’s high ceilings and to heighten the feel of the room. The cabinet’s glass doors allow for practical storage that can also showcase the personal style of the homeowners. The tall pantry next to the dual oven also adds to the height of the room, emphasizing the beautiful crown molding that offers the perfecting finishing touch to the space.

While our team loves working on a project, there’s a special feeling when we take a step back and look at what’s been accomplished in a space on behalf of our homeowners. This kitchen in particular underwent the full VIP treatment and only goes to show that your dream kitchen can be made a reality.

Client Countertops

When it comes to Signature kitchens, it’s hard to overlook the obvious: these spaces are versatile and therefore, the materials used to create them must be as well. And what’s one of the most important and utilized components of a kitchen? Its countertops.
While you can make an argument for cabinetry, the countertops are the biggest pieces that go into a kitchen space; they’re what you see first and use most. The kitchen space is taking on more and more roles in the home and therefore, must be able to adapt and seamlessly adjust for different needs and events.

The question, though, is: Can you countertop compete?

The material we often hear the most requests for is granite. Granite is a beautiful, natural stone that comes in a variety of colors and is wildly versatile. The many color options, in addition to its durability, is what makes granite so highly coveted. The natural material includes rivers of sparkle and other complimentary colors that run in veins throughout the slab, making each piece unique and different. These details also give a dynamic touch to classic white, black, and gray countertops that many clients are craving. Granite also resists heat, scratches, and cuts and can even come in polished and matte finishes (something we love!).

If you’re loving the look of stone but not the associated maintenance, then quartz is the way to go. This is one of the toughest countertops out there resisting heat, knives, scratch pads and harsh cleaning products, and stains of all sorts. Quartz also comes in bright, vibrant colors and can add the perfect pop to any kitchen space.

And lastly marble can be argued to be the most beautiful and timeless countertop option. Its neutral colors and traditional aesthetic create only the most classic of kitchens. Though marble is sustainable to some scratching and staining, it can provide a more lived-in look and the fact that marble is natural cooler in temperature is definitely a unique feature.
Whatever your vision for your kitchen, we’ll be sure to include every last detail you desire in our designs. We don’t consider a project complete without your signature of approval.
